Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee accounting operations, taxation, and client compliance for our Chartered Accountant firm. The role involves managing a team, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing financial insights to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management
- Oversee preparation and finalization of books of accounts
- Review journal entries, ledgers, and financial statements
- Ensure timely bank reconciliations and account closures
- Monitor cash flow and financial reporting
Taxation & Compliance
- Supervise GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns)
- Review Income Tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies
- Ensure compliance with TDS, PF, ESI, and Professional Tax regulations
- Handle assessments, notices, and departmental communications
Audit & Assurance
- Manage statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure documentation readiness
- Review audit reports and ensure compliance with standards
Client Management
- Act as a primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Provide advisory on accounting, taxation, and compliance matters
- Ensure timely delivery of services and maintain client satisfaction
Team Leadership
- Supervise and guide Accounts Assistants and junior staff
- Review team outputs for accuracy and compliance
- Train and mentor team members
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / Qualified Chartered Accountant preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation laws
- Expertise in GST, Income Tax, and compliance procedures
- Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software
- Leadership and team management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and client-handling skills
Experience
- 4–8 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 2–3 years in a CA firm preferred
Salary Range
- Based on experience, qualification and skills.
Working Hours
- Typically 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
